We had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful wedding reception for Kelly & Bram on 24th March 2017
The happy couple who call Outback Queensland home have a special connection to Mobys and wanted to share the beauty of Mobys Beachside Retreat & Pacific Palms with family & friends who travelled from far & wide to witness the happy couple tie the knot at the Green Cathedral, a few minutes north of Boomerang Beach
The Wedding party arrived in style with Black Label Limousines providing perhaps the shiniest, most amazing white Cadillac’s we’ve ever seen and local Pacific Palms photographer Kirk Owers did a great job as always capturing all the special moments.
When it came to planning their reception, Kelly & Bram had a very clear idea of what they wanted… an effortless and relaxed reception with lots of space for their guests to mingle, relax and enjoy the evening
They chose to ditch a lot of the traditional elements of a sit-down wedding reception at Mobys opting for a stylish cocktail party in our restaurant Mobys on Red Gum and…this wedding couldn’t have been more perfect!
The restaurant and restaurant deck, which was booked exclusively for the event, looked amazing thanks to Mel at Green Room Botanicals who provided the abundance of floral arrangements that complimented the personal styling and decorations that Kelly and her family provided.
Guests enjoyed a superb array of cocktail canapés prepared in-house by our head chef Evan McMahon and his team and some decadent desserts from Nadine, the Cake Queen. Guests were then treated were treated to a great night of entertainment provided by soloist Gareth Hudson.
