The 2017 HIF NSW Surfmasters Titles presented by Mobys Beachside Retreat will once again call the Great Lakes home when the event kicks off in mid-June.
Some of NSW’s most seasoned and well-rounded competitors will jump back into the competitive arena when the elite four-day competition gets underway from the 15th – 17th June.
The prominent four-day event will see over 150 competitors – aged 35 and above – battle it out in an attempt to secure a NSW shortboard title and a spot in the national titles at the 2017 Australian Surf Festival in Tweed Heads.
“The HIF NSW Surfmasters Titles presented by Mobys Beachside Retreat is one of the most fiercely contested events on our calendar with competitors hungry to gain themselves a NSW Title,” said Surfing NSW CEO Luke Madden.
“We expect to see the same high calibre of surfing we’ve seen over the last six years when the event returns to the Great Lakes region in June.”
2017 is the sixth year running the HIF NSW Surfmasters Titles Presented by Mobys Beachside Retreat has been held in the Great Lakes region.
Competition will commence each day at 7:30am with the call for the days schedule and location confirmed via the event hotline at 6:45am. The event hotline is 0458 247 212. Divisions for the event include: Over 35 Men, Over 35 Women, Over 40 Men, Over 45 Men, Over 50 Men, Over 55 Men, Over 60 Men and Open Single Fin.
Mobys Beachside Retreat will host a free dinner for competitors on Friday, 16th June as well as the Sunday afternoon presentations.
